Bank of England Monthly Reports go Quarterly

Commencing with September 2015's monthly review of business conditions this publication is to go quarterly. BofE says:

The Agents publish on the Bank’s website a regular summary of the intelligence gathered from business contacts across the country – the Agents’ summary of business conditions.  Following a review, we have made some changes to the content and frequency of this publication.  As of today’s release, the Agents’ Summary has moved from a monthly to a quarterly publication, with an improved one page executive summary, more content on financial conditions (including more material on property markets), and with short boxes covering particular aspects of business intelligence.  For example, in the release today we have a short box on recent developments in housing market activity and the reasons contacts give for subdued levels of transactions.

This Quarterly publication will be supplemented by shorter Update editions after the monetary policy rounds in between, mainly focused on providing a quick one-page Update for Agents’ business contacts.  Agents’ national scores will be published alongside each Quarterly or Update edition.

The current quarterly report on this basis is can be reached from the hyperlink above and on the usual B of E tab.
