Duncan Print Group achieves food packaging standard

The company has invested in turning its six colour Speedmaster XL105, installed in June 2012, into a press running low migration inks and with minimal chemicals and having the systems in place to ensure that unauthorised materials are not mixed with the low migration consumables. SAI Global ran the audit to approve Duncan's bid for the Global Standard for pacakging and packaging Materials in the High Hygiene category.

Much of the packaging it produces involves at least some element of inhouse design. The company also runs Xerox digital presses including an iGen3 which can be used for ultra low volume packaging.
